HARRISON TOWNSHIP — One person was injured in a shooting in Harrison Township early Tuesday morning.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, around 5:39 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4100 block of Mapleleaf Drive in Harrison Township on reports of a shooting.

When they got to the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
A Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor previously told News Center 7 that the man had been shot in the arm and leg.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He is listed as in critical condition, according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspect left the scene in the victim’s vehicle, which was later found abandoned on Klepinger Road. They were last seen in dark-colored clothing and a mask.
The shooting remained under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit.
