UPDATE: Suspect accused of shooting 4 people, including 2 Ohio officers arrested

EAST CLEVELAND — UPDATE @ 8:40 a.m.:

An all-night manhunt for the suspect accused of shooting four people, including two police officers, in East Cleveland ended with an arrest Friday morning.

The suspect was captured alive around 8:30 a.m., WOIO reported.

UPDATE @ 8:00 a.m.:

A manhunt is underway for a suspect accused of shooting two Ohio police officers.

The shooting happened in East Cleveland just after 11 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Taylor Road, according to CBS affiliate WOIO TV in Cleveland.

East Cleveland Mayor Lateek Shabazz said that both officers are in stable condition at University Hospitals.

The first officer shot outside a home at the 1900 block of North Taylor Road.

Shabazz told WOIO that two other people were shot and died inside the home.

The second officer was shot near an abandoned building around 1 a.m. on Friday, WOIO said.

Mayor Shabazz said the officers responded to a shooting and are searching for the suspected gunman.

He is expected to hold a news conference later this morning.
