Body camera footage from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies helping the woman escape out of a window after they got on scene.

The woman was checked out by medics, but she is okay.

“Hey, Joey, this is the Sheriff’s Office. Come outside. We don’t want anybody to get hurt,” a deputy said.

Deputies said Vaughn fired his gun and then charged at them after coming out of the house.

“Put the gun down! Put the gun down!” a deputy said.

Authorities quickly apprehended Vaughn and took him into custody.

“I’m naked, I don’t got no (expletive) clothes on,” Vaughn said.

“That was your choice,” a deputy replied.

After deputies caught Vaughn, he told them that he was running away from people who snuck into his home.

“They came into my window, they were in the house, (expletive) shooting at me, so I ran down here. I got in the back room, I knew if I didn’t make a run for it, they were gonna kill me. There’s three of them, one of me,” Vaughn said.

Court records show that Vaughn posted bail late last month, but the sheriff’s office wants him back behind bars.

After Vaughn was indicted, he didn’t show up for a scheduled hearing last week.

The sheriff’s office said they now have a warrant for his arrest, but haven’t been able to make contact with him.
