News Center 7 previously reported that Matthew Hunt was arrested in May at Northmont High School following allegations of inappropriate relationships with current and former students at the school.
Now, Hunt is accused of rape and sexual battery of at least nine boys.
Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck called the case “shocking.”
Heck said Hunt would meet boys and young men on the buses he drove, then would offer his victims a job with his organ-repair business, and then would begin sexually abusing them.

Heck said they’ve identified nine victims in the months-long investigation.
He believes there could be many more.
Hunt is facing 17 counts of rape, 64 counts of sexual battery, and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Hunt worked for Northmont schools since 2012 until he was fired following the allegations.
Northmont City Schools sent News Center 7 the following statement:
“As soon as we became aware of allegations, we took swift action -- assigning the former staff member to home, directing them not to have any contact with students or staff, and prohibiting them from being on school property. After we placed Mr. Hunt on leave, we severed our employment relationship with him. We are cooperating fully with local law enforcement and will continue to do so.”
Heck said Hunt worked for several districts in the area and was forced to resign from Vandalia Butler Schools in 2009 due to inappropriate contact with a student.
On his application to Northmont City Schools, Heck said Hunt did not disclose that he had been involuntarily terminated from another job.
Hunt is in jail on a $1 million bond.
We will continue to follow this story.
