CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — Damage has been reported after strong storms moved through the Miami Valley Saturday morning.

As previously reported on, News Center 7 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for the northern counties in the region after 6 a.m.

News Center 7 received reports of damage to a building in the 5000 block of Champaign Logan Shelby Road.
Wyatt Schaffer was making lunch with his family when he heard the wind and rain hitting his garage. He saw his garage damaged by the severe winds, and will now be spending Easter cleaning it up.
“We are going to wait for the insurance company to show up. Put this all in a pile and go from there,” Schaffer said.
Debris from the garage is scattered across Schaffer’s yard, even blown into trees.
Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn is working to learn more information about what exactly caused this damage.
Sources told Dunn that this damage happened around 10:20 a.m.
