HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Deputies are investigating a reported shooting in Harrison Township early Friday morning.

Around 1:57 a.m., crews were dispatched to the area of the 2000 block of Palisades Drive on reports of a shooting, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.

The victim later arrived at Miami Valley Hospital North with a gunshot wound to their foot.
Hospital staff told the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that the victim, only identified as a male, claimed to have been the victim of an attempted robbery in the 1900 block of Republic Drive, according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson.
The spokesperson added that the victim “did not want to cooperate with the investigation.”
Deputies are investigating the incident and reviewing video recordings from the neighborhood to determine more information.
