GREENE COUNTY — Authorities believe no one is in danger after spending hours responding to a water rescue call on Saturday.

Several fire crews were called to the area of Medway Road and Osborn Road, near Rainbow Lakes, around noon.

A fire chief on scene told News Center 7 that they received a “valid call” about a car being stuck in high water with people inside.
Crews spent hours searching and couldn’t find a car or anyone in danger, according to the chief.
