Dozens of agents showed up at a home along Graystone Drive, just off of Hoover Avenue, in Trotwood around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

“They were yelling over their speaker like, ‘FBI, we have a warrant’ and stuff. Then nobody answered,” Daniel Hawkey said. “They said it again.”

Hawkey said it was a strange way to wake, but that it was probably worse for the people inside the home.

News Center 7 crews on scene reported seeing several unmarked cars and a tactical unit.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5:00, Hawkey believed the people inside were ordered out of the home as FBI agents went inside, but he wasn’t sure if anyone was arrested.

“Several people against a car, patting them down, asking them questions,” Hawkey said.

A Spokesperson for the Cincinnati Office of the FBI confirmed that agents were conducting an investigation in the area.

“The FBI and our law enforcement partners are conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity in that area,” the spokesperson said.

No additional details were available at this time due to this being an ongoing investigation, according to the spokesperson.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was on scene assisting the FBI, according to the spokesperson from the department.

“It’s just crazy,” Hawkey said.
