Fast-food restaurant closed after early morning fire in Greene County

BEAVERCREEK — UPDATE @ 6:55 a.m.

A fast-food restaurant is closed after sustaining damage from a fire in Greene County early Thursday.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, Beavercreek Township firefighters responded just before 3 a.m. to reports of a fire at the Hardee’s on Colonel Glenn Highway.

When firefighters arrived, they found a fire on the west side of the building and started to extinguish it, according to Lee Paulos, Beavercreek Township Division Chief.

Crews went inside and also found some fire extension inside and put out that fire.

Paulos told News Center 7 that Hardee’s is closed on Thursday.

No firefighters were hurt.

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Fairborn fire departments assisted.

Paulos says the estimated cost of damage is currently unknown.
