The structure had previously caught fire on Sunday evening, according to the Sidney Fire Department.
A Sidney Police Dispatcher confirmed that the fire had rekindled.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire conditions on the second floor, according to a Lieutenant with the Sidney Fire Department.
Due to the structure being weakened by the previous fire, firefighters took a defensive response.
The residence was vacant due to the previous fire, which displaced the original residents.
No injuries were reported as a result of this fire, according to the lieutenant.
The cause is currently under investigation.
