MIAMI COUNTY — Firefighters responded to a reported barn fire in Miami County late Wednesday night.

The fire was reported in the 7400 block of Marlin Road around 11:30 p.m., a Miami County dispatcher confirmed.

The crews who were first to the scene reported a barn on fire about 30 feet away from a home, according to a social media post from the Pleasant Hill Fire Department.
Crews were able to mark the fire as under control by 12:05 a.m.
No animals were in the barn at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation by the Covington Fire Department. We’ve reached out to them for additional information.
