Flooding causes road closures throughout the region

MIAMI VALLEY — Flooding and high water have caused road closures throughout the Miami Valley Saturday morning.

According to OHGO, the following roadways are closed:

• State Route 48 Northbound in Miami County
• State Route 725 from Penewit Road to Lower Bellbrook Road in Greene County
• State Route 202 from SR-41 to SR-571 in Miami County

Madison Township Fire and EMS in Clark County said several roads currently have high water and may be impassable. Those roads include:

• South Charleston Clifton Road near the intersection of Nagley Road
• Botkin Road near Neil Road
• Clifton Road near Dolly Varden Road
• Shockley Road between the county line and Jamestown Road

Miami County has released a list of roads that are closed due to flooding:

• Versailles Road from Union Church to Bradford Bloomer Road
• Bradford Bloomer Road between Klinger Road and Horatio Road
• Covington Bradford Road from Rangeline Road to SR48
• Panther Creek Road at Harshbarger Road
• SR 48 between the villages of Covington and Pleasant Hill
• Markley Road between Rangeline Road and SR571
• Horseshoe Bend Road at Stillwater River
• Fenner Road West of SR 48
• Troy- Sidney Road north of the Troy City limits near Woodlawn Lane
• Eldean Road on both sides of CR25A
• Deweese Road from Polecat Road to Peterson Road
• Piqua-Troy Road between Peterson Road and Statler Road
• Piqua-Lockington Road from CR25A to Clevenger Road
• Landman Mill Road just east of Hardin Road
• SR 202 from SR41 to Tipp-Elizabeth Road
• Tipp-Elizabeth Road from Tipp City limits to SR 202
• Rudy Road near Tipp-Elizabeth Road and Elizabeth-Bethel Road
• Tipp Canal Road – North of Old Springfield Road
• SR 571 from Tipp City limits to SR 202

Huber Heights Police say Rip Rap Road is closed between Taylorsville and Little York.

Franklin Ohio Division of Police say Lower Springboro Road is closed from 4th Street to Pioneer Boulevard.

Darke County Sheriff’s Office says multiple roads have been closed in the area due to flooding:

• Palestine Union City south of State Route 571
• New Madison Coletown between US36 & Stingley Rd
• McFeeley Petry between SR118 & Rhynard Fink
• High water across State Route 121 at Eidson Rd and SR47 & SR49
• and other numerous back roads
