DAYTON — At least one person is dead after a crash on Southbound Interstate 75 in Dayton early Saturday morning.

Around 3:49 a.m., crews were dispatched to I-75 Southbound near Salem Ave on reports of a crash with injuries, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.

The sergeant also said that at least one occupant was reportedly trapped in the vehicle.
It is unclear at this point how many occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed they were also called to the scene.
All lanes on I-75 South at Third St near Salem Ave were closed while crews investigated, but have since reopened.
