CLARK COUNTY — UPDATE @7:00 a.m.
State troopers and deputies responded to two separate crashes on Interstate 70 in Clark County on Thursday morning.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, the crashes happened around 3:45 a.m. in both directions of I-70 near State Route 72.

An OSHP dispatcher confirmed to News Center 7 that the crash on I-70 EB involved two semis. Medics also transported a person to an area hospital.
The left shoulder remains closed on I-70 EB near State Route 72.
ODOT cameras also showed a second crash on I-70 westbound near State Route 72.
News Center 7 has contacted the OSHP and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office about what caused both crashes.
