JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — Two people were taken to the hospital after a stabbing in Montgomery County.

Deputies were called to Hanover Avenue for a reported stabbing around 7:30 p.m., according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor.

Deputies found a man on West Third Street who had an apparent Stab Wound, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
A man was also found stabbed at a home in the area.
Both were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
After getting treatment, one of the men was taken to the Montgomery County Jail for felonious assault.
Deputies on scene said there was a fight between two family members that escalated into a stabbing.
