HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Three people were hospitalized after a driver ran a red light in Harrison Township Wednesday afternoon, according to a spokesperson with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 1:16 p.m., deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Turner Road and Philadelphia Drive for a multi-car crash.
The spokesperson said one car was on fire and multiple entrapments were reported.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that a car ran a red light westbound on Turner Road and was hit by two vehicles in the intersection.
The at-fault driver was ejected from their car and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesperson said.
One person was trapped inside each of the other two cars involved.
Firefighters were able to extricate the victims.
The spokesperson said they were both hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two vehicles in the eastbound left-turn lane on Turner Road were damaged by debris.
This crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Unit.
