The businesses and organizations impacted were all near the intersection of W. First Street and N. Ludlow Street, police confirmed to News Center 7.
Dayton Police confirmed to News Center 7 that they made an arrest in the case, which is about the only thing the victims of the vandalism are happy about.
Amy Hoskins said her business, Teardrops Steakhouse, may have been the last business targeted.
“He took out two, yeah, two panes,” Hoskins said.

The business provided News Center 7 with pictures and video of the incident. In the video, the man can be seen throwing rocks through some of their windows.
As shown on News Center 7 at 5:00, many other victims in the area also had busted windows. Even the League of Women Voters had its doors smashed, causing team members to have to use the back door.
“The League of Women Voters, if nothing else, is resilient. We will persist,” Christine Corba, Executive Director of the League of Women Voters, said. “We’re going about business as usual.”
It won’t be business as usual for their landlords, the management of the Talbott Tower. They had at least three tenants victimized with damages in the thousands.
News Center 7 also reported that Rabbit Hole Books was another victim.
Police would not identify the suspect, but online jail records show that they arrested 60-year-old Mark Arden at 111 W. First Street, Teardrops Steakhouse, on Tuesday morning.
Police said Tuesday afternoon that the man has been a menace in the downtown area. They showed News Center 7 almost 50 different entries of police interactions and arrests with him before this incident.
Arden was booked on suspicion of vandalism, according to Montgomery County Jail records.
