Over 43K without power after severe weather moves through region

MIAMI VALLEY — Over 43,000 people are without power in the Miami Valley as severe weather moves through the area.

As of 1:50 a.m., over 23,000 AES Ohio customers are currently without power, according to an outage map.

Customers in the following counties who have reported outages:

  • Auglaize County- 30
  • Butler County- 26
  • Champaign County- 31
  • Clark County- 133
  • Clinton County- 448
  • Darke County- 1,745
  • Greene County- 3,989
  • Logan County- 42
  • Miami County- 1,184
  • Montgomery County- 12,687
  • Preble County-1,641
  • Shelby County- 607
  • Warren County- 249

Over 14,000 Duke Energy customers in the Miami Valley are without power:

  • Butler County- 4,047
  • Clinton County- 1
  • Montgomery County- 24
  • Preble County- 21
  • Warren County- 10,551

At least 5,800 Ohio Edison customers in the Miami Valley are without power:

  • Clark County- 5,875
