DAYTON — One person is in the hospital and another is in police custody after a family dispute led to a shooting in Dayton Friday night, according to Dayton Police Sergeant Luckoski.

As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, the shooting was reported near the intersection of Ernst Avenue and Newport Avenue around 9:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, police learned that two family members got into an argument.
Luckoski said one person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another family member was taken into custody, but it is unclear if they have been arrested.
