DAYTON — At least one person is dead after a semi truck flipped onto its side and landed on State Route 4 in Dayton, Sunday morning.

As reported on News Center at 6:00, the crash happened in the area of Interstate 75 and State Route 4 around 9:30 a.m., a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

The Dayton Police Department said on social media that a semi truck flipped onto its side.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed to News Center 7 that they were called to the scene. Their identity was not immediately available.
News Center 7 crews on scene said it appears that the FedEx semi left Interstate 75 and ended up on State Route 4, but Dayton police have not confirmed how the crash happened.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route at this time.
Dayton Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating this crash.
