DAYTON — A man is dead after a shooting in Dayton.

As reported on News Center 7 at 11, Dayton officers were called to the shooting in the 500 block of West Fairview around 9:30 p.m.

A male was shot inside a car, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor.
The man was later pronounced dead, according to Sgt. Tyler Hofacker with Dayton police.
911 callers detailed what they found.
“He is shot and he is shot bad,” one caller tells dispatchers. “I heard like 10 shots.”
