MIAMI COUNTY — A semi truck driver reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into multiple vehicles on Northbound Interstate 75 in Miami County early Tuesday morning.

Around 5:39 a.m., crews were dispatched to the on-ramp of I-75 NB near State Route 571 on reports of a crash, according to a Miami County Dispatcher.

News Center 7 crews on scene reported seeing a semi blocking the on-ramp of I-75 northbound.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Trooper told News Center 7 crews that a semi driver reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel and hit a disabled vehicle under the overpass before continuing northbound toward the on-ramp.
The semi-driver then swerved onto the on-ramp and struck a second semi that was parked on the shoulder of the on-ramp, according to the trooper.
No injuries have been reported, according to OSHP on the scene.
