FAIRBORN — UPDATE @3:10 a.m.
A house fire led to a firefighter and one resident being taken to a local hospital early Tuesday.

Fairborn firefighters and medics responded around 12:40 a.m. to the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue on reports of a house fire with a person trapped, according to Fairborn Fire Chief Ryan Williams.

When firefighters arrived, they made an aggressive interior attack and discovered a person trapped inside.
Williams said that the person was removed and transported to a local hospital.
He added that a firefighter suffered “a minor injury” and was transported, but was expected to be okay.
Xenia Township, Wright-Patterson, and Miami Township firefighters provided mutual aid, Williams stated
