DAYTON — SWAT officers were called to a local home on Wednesday.

SWAT was spotted in the 400 block of Westwood Avenue around 2 p.m.
There is an armed man reportedly in the attic of the home, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor.

Our crew on the scene has seen SWAT officers trying to get the man out of the house by using drones and loudspeakers, and by firing an unknown chemical into the house.
Several neighbors News Center 7 spoke with are not sure what’s going on. One woman, named Zee, was surprised to hear that SWAT was in her neighborhood.
“This has never happened,” she said. “I guess it’s not too bad because a year and a half to been here has always been quiet. So this ain’t something that always go on.”
