TROTWOOD — Several police officers and SWAT team members were spotted at a home in Trotwood on Friday morning.

Law enforcement was reported in the area of State Route 49 and Wolf Creek Pike around 8 a.m. on Friday.

A spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the county’s R.A.N.G.E. Task Force, assisted by Trotwood Police and Montgomery County Regional SWAT, served a search warrant at a home in the 5000 block of Wolf Creek Pike.
During the search, task force detectives recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms, and ammunition.
News Center 7 was at the scene and saw two people being detained. The spokesperson said those two were arrested and booked at the Montgomery County Jail on drug charges.
This remains under investigation by the task force.
