CLINTON COUNTY — At least two tornadoes touched down in Clinton County last night amid severe storms.

The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed Thursday afternoon that a second tornado hit Clinton County overnight on April 3.
This one touched down in the eastern part of the county, just south of Sabina, and then crossed into Fayette County.

The NWS previously confirmed Thursday morning that another tornado moved through Clinton County overnight on April 3.
This was determined to be an EF0 with peak wind speeds of 85 mph.
That tornado began in northern Brown County based on radar evidence of a tornadic debris signature. It traveled through Clinton and Highland Counties, according to the NWS.
The NWS is still assessing damage reports in these counties.
